The warranty extension no longer applies to new purchases from the time you switch to neon free. Purchases made while you were on neon plus, neon global, or neon metal are covered for a total of 3 (neon plus), 4 (neon global), or 5 years (neon metal) from the date of purchase (2 years under the original manufacturer's warranty and up to an additional 3 years under the warranty extension).
