Don’t panic, at neon, paying too much into your pillar 3a isn’t a problem – you can have the excess amount paid back to you. If you pay too much, the tax authorities will contact you.

Here’s how it works in detail:

• Your tax authority checks your payments

• You’ll receive a confirmation showing the maximum permitted amount and the amount you’ve actually paid in

• If there’s a difference, you’ll need to withdraw this amount from your pillar 3a

Here’s how to withdraw the amount from neon:

1. Open your 3a portfolio in the app

2. Select «Manage portfolio»

3. Tap on «Withdraw money / Close portfolio»
