With neon green, users plant trees on the go and actively support the climate. Why? A mature mangrove tree neutralises around 310 kg of CO₂ from the atmosphere over its lifetime. So if, for example, you plant 48 trees in a year by using your neon card (equivalent to card spending of 2’000 CHF per month), these trees will neutralise around 12 tonnes of CO₂ over their lifetime – calculated on the basis of an 80% survival rate. That is more than the average annual emissions per Swiss person.
